• Support attorneys in the preparation and prosecution of litigation cases. Assist with general pleadings, and discovery (Interrogatories, Deposition Notices, Request for Production of Documents, Request for Admission, IMEs, Subpoenas, etc.), motions, demand packages, and trial practice. Work with attorneys to provide efficient support of administrative tasks and superior client service.• Assist attorneys at trial with organizing all evidence needing to be submitted to the court covered under each specific department’s trial guidelines.• Review and route incoming communication, e.g., facsimile, emails, and correspondence, following up on deadlines as appropriate.• Coordinate and review final court documents prior to e-signature and e-filing.• Case management and preparation of trial exhibits, charts, trial notebooks, drafting legal documents, and obtaining documents from public agencies, government entities, medical facilities, etc.;• Review weekly calendar draft making any necessary additions, changes or deletions prior to stated deadlines, and reviewing the court’s register of actions/docket.• Provide administrative assistance with expense summaries, invoices, and client billing.

• Conduct extensive research upon various prison locations within California by focusing on the effect COVID-19 had on CDC protocols, and annual incarceration rates. My duties on this assignment included transcribing written letters and audio recordings provided by inmates regarding their experience with COVID-19, and reviewing COVID-19 contamination rates within the prison system.
