Led a team of 32 people to manage distribution center operations for Nestlé Waters Home & Office Delivery (HOD) business.

Managed the largest distribution center of Nestlé Pakistan situated at the Sheikhupura Factory (SKP), overseeing a team of 30+ dedicated professionals responsible for efficiently managing inbound, storage, and outbound processes for finished goods, encompassing products valued at approximately 33 million CHF.The DC spans an extensive covered area of approximately 230,000 sq. ft. The facility boasts a substantial racking capacity of 30,000 pallets, thoughtfully allocated between selective and drive-in racking systems.• Piloted the pallet label size reduction project to slash label spending by 73% & delivering potential annual environment gains for 6.5 tons of paper, corresponding to savings of 151 trees/yr approximately.• Led the critical project of implementing mechanized loading of outbound vehicles; thereby, increasing loading labor productivity by 29% and decreasing labor costs.• Led a 'multi-skilling' program providing cross competency training to individuals that helped in drastically improving operational KPIs of on-time dispatch, employee OT and vehicle halting.

• Steered a rigorous Oracle Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to enable Advanced Metering Infrastructure throughout Karachi, resulting in cost saving of millions of rupees for manual meter reading.• Led implementation of SAP PM to manage smart metering systems. It covers an area of 6,500 sq. km -- more than 2,500 sq. miles -- with industrial, commercial, agricultural and residential areas falling under its network.I worked as a Trainee in Smart Grid—Advanced Metering Infrastructure (SG AMI) department, which comes under Distribution Strategy & Planning. IEEE GIKI Student Branch is a recognized student branch of IEEE in Region 10, Islamabad Section. The Branch holds various seminars and workshops for the learning and teaching in the field of Electronics and Robotics. Two major nation wide events (National Electronics Olympiad & IEEE Week) are held annually for different universities to participate and compete in a healthy and challenging environment. The Branch works to ensure innovation, advancement in technology and research in Electronics, especially Robotics.Responsibilities included:• Reporting of all the activities of Student Branch to the IEEE International and getting feedback on it.• Conducting workshops for the membership development of the members of IEEE GIKI. Membership development plays a key role in ensuring the future growth of IEEE GIKI and its members.• Collaborating with other student branches at both sectional and regional level.• Sending members of IEEE GIKI to events/symposiums organised by other student branches, so that they could get some exposure, groom themselves both personally and professionally and represent our student branch.Previous works:• Playing a pivotal role for the success of IEEE Week 2014. Delivered workshops on Robotics to the freshmen, so that they could develop an enthusiasm in Electronics and have a basic knowledge about it.• Introduced a new module, Code Hunt, in National Electronics Olympiad 2015 for the programmers out there. Code Hunt took place in our highly equipped Lab of Electrical & Electronics Faculty and it gave the participants a chance to test their programming skills at their best in a given span of time. The module proved to be very successful and we received a highly positive feedback.• Organized tutorials and workshops for sophomores, helping them in their projects as well as in participating in various competitions like National Electronics Olympiad, National Engineering Robotics Competition etc.

• Completed two projects during my internship. The first one aimed at understanding what an SCR is and its use in different parts of a machine and the second one was getting to know about the new printing machine, Rapida 106, manufactured by KBA.• I was also required to help the technicians with any faults in the printing machines.
