•Designing, sizing, and tendering a new phase, funded by the World Bank, consisting of 8 mini-grid sub-station solar projects with a total capacity of 35 MWp and 30 MWh BESS, using both Huawei and Sungrow solutions.•Providing consultation services from design to delivery to implement resilient, reliable, and sustainable solutions.•Connecting and operating the control system based on advanced SCADA and EMS Solutions, in addition to installing an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Smart Prepaid Metering System.•Supervising the installation of the HV (16Km, 33Kv) and MV (6Km, 11Kv) networks and all related system components up to the highest standards to ensure maximum safety.•Scheduling toolbox meetings on-site safety and security with the technical team (engineers, foremen, and technicians).•Setting weekly meetings with clients, state managers, and consultants on the challenges and work progress.•Handling the site finances and procurement of equipment.•Training local teams on solar concepts and high-standard methods of installation.
