Kyle has obtained a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside in June of 2014.At SPEware, in 2012, Kyle's internship focused on a chemical process in which solid phase extraction columns were produced with sorbents sold to drug testing groups. Through design of experiment, Kyle modified chemical solution concentrations to reduce costs and chemical waste. His work included solid phase extraction, positive pressure manifolds, evaporators, and coolers.As a technician for analytical equipment through the company, Basyss, Kyle identified and troubleshot HPLC and LCMS equipment. He conducted calibration tests using Analyst software. From end-user maintenance, Kyle has polished client service skills.As a quality control chemist with Coca-Cola , Kyle's primary function consisted of testing product syrup batches per specifications. Kyle conducted monthly internal audits, which allowed the company to conduct corrective action towards GMP violations. Kyle worked with the maintenance department to troubleshoot PLC issues at the process line. During his final year, Kyle led a diverse team of engineers, mechanics, and line operators using DMAIC approach and other LEAN tools to improve product yields.
