- Tried fifteen (15) cases before a jury resulting in convictions on charges including Intentional Abuse of a Child Resulting in Death, Criminal Sexual Penetration of a Minor in the First Degree (Child Under 13), Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor in the Second Degree (Child Under 13), Criminal Sexual Contact of a Minor in the Third Degree (Child Under 13), Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, False Imprisonment, Bribery of a Witness, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun by a Person Under Age 19.- Mentored two (2) Senior Trial Attorneys who went on to be promoted to Deputy District Attorneys.- Trained prosecutors in the office on various trial mechanics such as voir dire in cases involving charges of child sexual abuse, trial preparation in cases involving charges of manufacturing and possession of child pornography, trial preparation in homicide cases, and motions practice.- Supervised undergraduate and law school interns, obtaining permission from the judiciary to have them present at counsel table for the State at all stages of jury trial proceedings.- Advised and collaborated with law enforcement officials during and after criminal investigations.- Presented cases to the grand jury.- Attended the 35th Annual Crimes Against Children Conference in Dallas, TX.- Worked closely with expert witnesses in the fields of Childhood Sexual Abuse and Trauma, Forensic Pathology, Digital Forensic Analysis, DNA/Serology, Latent Prints, and Toxicology.- Provided compassionate care and attention to the needs of victims of crime.- Researched, drafted, and filed responsive pleadings that prevailed against pretrial motions to dismiss cases for violation of the right to a speedy trial, exclude expert/lay witnesses, and preclude the admission of critical evidence.

- 2022 Prosecutor of the Year- Tried seventeen (17) cases before a jury resulting in convictions on charges including First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Manufacturing Visual Medium of Sexual Exploitation of Children, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Attempt to Commit Armed Robbery, Shooting At or From a Motor Vehicle, Conspiracy to Commit Shooting At or From a Motor Vehicle, Attempt to Commit Kidnapping in the First Degree, Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member (Strangulation or Suffocation), Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Battery Upon a Peace Officer, Impersonating a Peace Officer, Battery Against a Household Member, and Concealing Identity.- Successfully argued for the pretrial detention of numerous dangerous criminal defendants.

- Secured a prison sentence of seventy-five (75) years for a child rapist.- Tried nine (9) cases before a jury resulting in convictions on charges including Criminal Sexual Penetration in the First Degree (Child Under 13), Second Degree Murder, Abuse of a Child (Does Not Result in Death or Great Bodily Harm), Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Failure to Maintain Traffic Lane.

- Tried eleven (11) cases before a judge and one (1) case before a jury resulting in convictions on charges of Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs, Violation of Restraining Order Prohibiting Domestic Violence, Assault Upon a Peace Officer, and Stopped Vehicles Not to Interfere with Traffic.- Took numerous cases to preliminary examination and established probable cause to support the charges.

- Led the marketing activities related to the Child & Family Justice Initiative ("CFJI"), a program born out of a multi-million dollar grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.- Created and maintained content for multiple streams of communication related to the CFJI, including face-to-fact meetings, the CFJI microsite, social media, and email blasts.- Developed relationships with individuals committed to the improvement of child wellbeing in the state of New Mexico who would become donors in support of the CFJI.- Facilitated on-going communication and working relationships with decision-makers at the UNM School of Law and representatives of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
