• Flight planning with IGI plan software • General Administration • Travel • Client Liaison• Identify geospatial data requirements, inventory & review of input GIS data and QC/QC of project GIS deliverables.• Work with point cloud data collected by airborne and/or mobile methods. • Extract 2D and 3D information from the data and generate CAD mapping for delivery. • Perform classification, feature extraction and mapping from processed LIDAR data. • Calculation of the Airborne mobile GPS trajectory in PosPac MMS software, inertial Explorere, Grafnav and Aero Office. • Checking the GPS trajectory results and troubleshooting accuracies. • Outputting the data to the relevant map projection. • Checking and adjusting the laser calibration using RiProcess and Terra software. • Classification of the laser point cloud into ground and above ground features and any other classifications as required by the client. • Checking the accuracy of the laser point cloud against pre-determined ground survey points and problem solving where needed to identify and resolve inaccuracies. Generation of contours once the ground surface model has been thoroughly checked and edited. • Stockpile calculation, updating volume reports and plans. • Volumetric calculations and reporting. Updating pit surveyed monthly, including calculating volumes. • Downloading GPS files from controllers (Trimble)/ fieldwork • Drafting of survey drawings which would include TMH11 compliance. • Responsible for verifying the accuracy of drawings, compatibility of work across disciplines and for checking detail and quantity calculations. • Generating orthophotos according to client specs Projections a using Agisoft and Global Mapper software • Meet data quality and production rate standards as set out by the by the Lidar department. • R and D as required based purely on improving production, quality and innovation.
