• Co-invented and co-developed the Synthetic Intron platform technology enabling splicing factor mutation-dependent gene expression, that led to selective cancer cell targeting and identification of GPATCH8, a novel RNA splicing factor required for mis-splicing induced by SF3B1 mutations.• Served as scientific adviser and technology transfer coordinator for Codify therapeutics, a spinoff startup of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center licensing the Synthetic Intron platform technology.• Supervised a team of (6) technicians to develop and validate two novel murine models of SF3B1-mutant melanomas.

Provided scientific consulting and coordinated the out-licensing of the Synthetic Intron platform technology to advance the drug discovery program.
