I opened recently a new career path and I am delighted to have become a professor for Digital business and marketing. This enables me to combine my deep interest to explore new fields, pass on my experience to the next generation and act with a high level of self-determination.As former Head of Open Innovation and Incubation for Henkel dx, I was passionate to challenge the status quo and clear the way for change. I worked with startups and with corporate innovation units to build digital and data-driven business models that will optimize, transform and disrupt.I aim to protect existing revenue streams, and to discover new areas that have the potential to complement Henkel’s core businesses and expand our footprint in the startup ecosystem. To achieve that I essentially build bridges between two worlds, combining the speed and agile thinking of startups with the tried and tested processes and resources of large corporates. That freedom can create extraordinary opportunities to innovate and improve.I’ve worked in digitalization for over 10 years now and its capacity for change never ceases to excite me. Over that period digital open innovation and incubation has evolved into a field that is becoming ever-more important as our industries and markets undergo major transformation. A successful past no longer guarantees a successful future, and innovation is key to the survival of even major players.My team will tell you that I see the word ‘NO’ as an opportunity to improve and advance an idea, and that I am passionate about inspiring women to become leaders.
