In November 2017, I hosted an international Capoeira Angola and African arts festival that brought Grand Mestre João Grande to Kenya. The festival drew participants from Japan, USA, Egypt, Colombia, Angola and Germany. Launched a fundraising campaign across two social media platforms that enabled more than 40 youths from Kenyan slums and orphanages to participate free of cost.
