I am a professional sales and marketing manager with more than fifteen years of experiences in several industries and currently working as Manager at the Bristol Wing Hotel. I have begun my carrier journey in pharmaceutical industry, as a trainee medical representative at Sun Shine Health Care in 2006. Throughout my pharmaceutical carrier I was able to work in major companies in Sri Lanka such as, Hema's pharmaceuticals, Sunshine Health care and Mega Pharmaceuticals. After completing ten years in the industry, I have advanced my position from trainee medical representative to senior territory manger. Further, I had completed “Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM, UK)” in 2015. The academic qualifications and the experience that I gained in pharmaceutical industry had opened enormous opportunities to thrive my carrier. In 2016 I have joined “Finlay's Group” as a sales manager at “Rentokil Initial” Business Unit. As a sales manager I was responsible for brand establishment of Rentokil Initial, reaching the target market segments in B2B marketing approach, achieving sales objectives through developing sales strategies, setting sales targets in hygiene division, recruiting, training and development of sales staff, lead the team of sales executives to work towards agreed sales targets, monitoring the team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets.Focusing on my carrier advancement, I have successfully completed “Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Cardiff metropolitan university in 2017. The strategic level exposure and academic qualification helped me to position myself in the industry as a senior manager. In 2018, I have been offered sales manager position in 3M Lanka (PVT) Ltd, which was the most innovative organization in the world with more than 30000 products in different industry. Since, this has been a multinational company; I was able to gain novel experiences in every task. However, due to the top management’s strategic decision, organization decided to restructure their operation worldwide and shifted to local distributer’s model and we were offered compensation according to the experiences in the organization. After leaving 3M Lanka, in 2018 I have joined “Villa Mount Melody” as a sales and marketing manager.
