I led demanding R&D projects in Vaisala Industrial Measurements department. My project teams designed wold's best measuring devices and also manufacturability, documentation, service, marketing and sales support for the product. I worked closely with the customer during the project to collect the key requirements and the valuable feedback. I led my project teams with passion. I think the key to success is in people and how the project group works together. For example in one of my projects my rock star team was able to release the product 3 months in advance and saved approximately 300k€. With one golden team we won Vaisala Quality Award 2017. With new Vaisala hydrogen peroxide instrument HPP270 we understood customer needs during the project so well that entering to this new market was a great success.Best feedback I have received from my previous project team members is that they would definitely like to do another project with me!I was also a competence owner of project management professional development group in Vaisala R&D. I worked as a project manager of product development projects that have focused on demanding customized power supply products and software design projects for telecommunication applications, such as radio base stations. I led also several cost reduction projects for products already in production. International project teams contained 10-20 people in Europe, China and India. I was the main contact to the customer and worked closely with sales department in a project quotation phase. As a project manager I was responsible of project schedule, customer requirements, costs, quality and manufacturability.I managed keep all projects in schedule with my multisite project teams.

I worked as a MEMS packaging designer in R&D projects of accelerometers and pressure sensors. I planned the performance and reliability tests, organized the test series and analyzed the test results. I also acted as a technical contact person to customer and suppliers. Most of the sensors were made for automotive applications where high quality and reliability are the main issues in the product design and validation process. As a product design engineer I was responsible of material choices, processability, reliability, quality and cost of the product.
