I have solid experience in user-centric design. I have created and developed a health technology product and convinced investors and healthcare professionals to support me. Throughout my career and in my extensive studies my focus has been on enabling people’s lives and understanding their needs.To me design means evaluating, observing and analyzing people’s needs and behaviors, running and facilitating workshops, creating prototypes, piloting and testing them with actual users and especially iterating quickly and often in the real environment. I am enthused by the process of making an initial vision becoming a real product and the collaboration with different people during that journey.My biggest achievement is that I have acted as the Founder, Creative Director and CEO of a healthcare technology company called Modz Oy. My responsibilities included concept design, product user requirements, end-product visual design, UI design for portable product and web solution. As a CEO I was responsible for funding and investor relations, building the team as well as business development and negotiations. I have experience from all the different design phases from innovating ideas to creating and selling an actual product. I have shown my capabilities and grit successfully in real life. As a person I am an easy-going, energetic problem-solver and a team player. I love challenges and I am not afraid of the unknown. Building new solutions, selling new ideas and engaging people on the way motivate me and bring me energy.
