I am a Communication Professional who is at home in diverse field of corporate communication, journalism, communication research and board development. I loved my versatile work as a journalist, but I am extremely happy that I have had the opportunity to develop my skills, competence and expertise in corporate communication and research. I always love to discover and learn more! Latest I have had the opportunity specialize my skills in board governance and serve on the boards of multiple organizations. I worked at Yle almost 18 years, as a reporter but also as a producer and news manager. The last year and a half I worked as a planning producer and managed the planning and production of journalistic content. I have been fortunate that I have been able to work in many different roles in the editing office. In addition to the work of the radio, tv and online reporter I have worked as a radio host, radio producer, news manager and news presenter. Best thing in my work was to meet interesting people, find new feature topics and news and monitor the development of society and the world from vantage point, not forgetting the individual human being.I also have had the opportunity to look at communication and especially corporate communication field from researcher's point of view. In my PhD research I am studying artificial intelligence and in particular Chatbots as part of organization's stakeholder interactions. Beside my work as a researcher I have studied e.g. digital marketing, social media and academic writing but also worked as a teacher and lecturer in Media Relations. The years in Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) have thought me to look at things from new and broader perspective but also develop my self-management ja researcher skills.I have noticed afterwards that there is one thing that connects my career paths, and it is the interaction. I have always been interested in the interaction from many different aspects. After studying basics of interaction as a speech communication student, I was able to improve my interactions skills in practice as a journalist and now I am studying interaction between chatbots and humans as part of organization's stakeholder interaction. I truly believe in the power of interaction. It is the foundation of our daily lives, it is a key to operate in personal and working life and it is a starting point of well managed leadership and well-being of the organization.
