Following a career in PR and Media Sales I re-trained to become an OT in 2010. This combined skill set has proven beneficial at Notts Healthcare where I have worked as a Senior OT and Clinical Team Leader. I am excited about making a move to Primary Care and working at Cripps GP practice to support Nottingham University students whom are experiencing poor mental health. I am a trained mindfulness teacher and strive to educate young people the skills to stay present in the midst of uncertainty. I love working in mental health and empowering service users to meet their goals using a recovery -focussed approach. I am passionate in supporting people to engage in meaningful activity that promotes wellness and balance.
