The team collectively worked on a £22m portfolio. Identified training needs, established training requirements and became point of reference for business functional areas.

Dorset County Council Human Resources Officer Liaising with senior management teams to create, develop and deliver an Assessment Centre approach for new roles within a Contact Centre.  Developed a competency framework for assessment as well as all selection materials and interview documentation, performance management/absence management coaching with line managers. Evaluating processes to measure feedback and made necessary changes to the recruitment selection process.

Reviewed all recruitment material and practice in line with new legislation. Headhunted talent and reduced costs per head, achieving visible increase in staff retention through commitment to hiring and training the right staff. Sourced new suppliers for the new e-recruitment system and developed competency and behavioural framework for the selection and development centres leading to enhanced selection procedures. While Human Resources Manager, facilitated and developed role profile workshops and delivered events to business areas. I managed long term sick, disciplinaries and grievance cases. Managed HR Advisors, through coaching and appraisals. Designed, planned and implemented the Company Induction Video, involving liaison across all business areas as well as delivering training workshops to management on performance management and appraisal training. Managed and delivered 360 feedback exercise across the organisation, selling the process to Directors and other change champions. As Recruitment Officer, effectively facilitated the assessment and development events for all Head Office staff. Worked with field teams and facilitated Retail Management and Area Manager Assessment Events. Designed effective recruitment material for internal and external use.
