Creation of a new central marketing team responsible for the development and delivery of a sector focused marketing plan for the FM division of a FTSE 250 services, maintenance and building group. Responsible for:- the delivery of a comprehensive external PR & media relations programme to position Interserve as a thought leader in its field; generating consistent feed of good news to press, articles, interviews, client and industry sponsorships, generating speaker opportunities, identifying opportunities for us to comment in press. - development of an internal engagement plan for 20,000 employees, using a variety of media inc. intranet, newsletters, email communication. - raising Interserve’s profile as a leading FM provider through consistent award recognition – helping to build partnerships with our clients. - Scoping and creation of brand identities for models within Interserve to gain competitive advantage – eg. Renewables, a guide for sustainable development - Creation of a comprehensive suite of collateral to promote our capability, including website, brochures, flyers, case studies and event support with corporate gifts. - Event management for exhibitions, forum events, new business expos, brand and new contract launches, corporate hospitality, conferences. - Brand management, policing and control. Rebranding projects & management. - Support for transition team on marketing communications for TUPE transferees, assistance with branding and internal communication.

Responsible for the management and delivery of an internal and external marketing plan for a major player (£250m turnover, 13,000 employees) within the Facilities Management industry, providing services to major companies within retail, government, commercial, industrial and airport market sectors. Day-to-day management of marketing function, line management of Marketing Co-ordinator, and management of specialist PR Agency and brand specialists. External Communications- Brand Development and Management- Public Relations- Press releases - Advertising- Researching, planning and organizing systematic and carefully targeted marketing campaigns- Customer communications - Copywriting for all marketing communications and promotional material - speeches, scripts, press releases, articles (including ‘ghost writing’), sound bites, quotations, profiles, marketing briefs and plans, statements and newsletters - CRM Events, sponsorships, promotional launches, exhibitions, awards & client hospitality. - Overall management and maintenance of CRM database - Promotional DVDs for business development, marketing and training purposes, multi-media productions & photography - Overall management of 4 websites & day-to-day content management. - Promotional literature - brochures, case studies, presentations, flyers, posters, leaflets, folders, catalogues, or specially designed material Internal Communications - Newsletters, communiqués & targeted sector specific communication- Collation & circulation of good news stories / contract wins etc. - Management of Intranet- Overall management of company-wide intranet with delegated responsibility for day-to-day content management. - Market intelligence & research- Conference Management from concept to completion- CSR / Charities- Marketing Project Management inc. devt of new brand identitites- Specific new bid/re-tender marketing support projects
