My Practice is involved in the treatment of;1. Sports injuries; especially skiers and runners. I have worked with ski racers at private clubs in Collingwood for 25yrs. This includes athletes on the Ontario ski team and worked with coaches in Toronto. More recently I have worked with skiers on the Ontario Mogul ski team. I have also worked with runners, as I have been very active in many of my own races and have had many injuries and so am very well versed in all running injury treatments and prevention.General Skeletal/ myofascial injuries of the spine including neck. I am qualified to manipulate and use acupuncture when necessary. Rehabilitation post knee or hip replacement or post re-constructive surgery any limb.Some CVA /stroke victims. Also Motor vehicle accident.I use many manual (hands on) techniques. Including myo-fascial release,trigger point release, mobilizations and manipulations when necessary. Active release techniques,neural tissue mobilizations. I also do specific strength training for spinal and cervical and for all sports to a functional level. I also work with patients with chronic pain and guide patients with strategic back to work strengthening programs for work hardening.I work with post surgical patients for ACL and knee, hip and ankle and foot surgery, Shoulder re-construction, post op spinal surgery.
