I led a team of winemakers, overseeing all aspects of wine production for the Robert Mondavi portfolio of wines, in tandem with longtime chief winemaker Genevieve Janssens. Working with Constellation Brands’ consulting winemakers, I also oversaw the execution of the production of the To Kalon Vineyard Company and Double Diamond wines, produced at the RMW facility. I acted as an interface with the winemaking team at The Prisoner Wine Co, in order to ensure the quality of the TPWC wines that were fermented at the RMW facility. I was intimately involved in a complete winery renovation, selecting receiving equipment, fermentation vessels, presses and more. I worked closely with Constellation's Napa-based viticultural team to ensure that the winery's key vineyard sites, including the To Kalon and Wappo Hills vineyards, were farmed to a standard of excellence. I worked with the grower relations team to do the same for the brand's contracted fruit sources. Working closely with Brand and Wine Club, I helped to thoughtfully reshape the portfolio, adding new SKUs that generated > $1MM in DTC revenue in FY 24. I supported hospitality, marketing and sales by engaging with customers onsite at the winery, regularly hosting winemaker dinners, engaging with national and international distributors, traveling to promote the brand in key markets, and curating visits with key members of the wine press. I promoted and mentored the internal team, supporting developing team members in winemaking, viticulture, hospitality, lab, admin and other departments, and I conducted staff trainings for the RMW hospitality team and for the broader Constellation Brands International team.
