My career path is rather varied, but was mostly somewhere in the arts/nonprofit field, specifically technical theatre. I transitioned into event and party decor installation for about 8 years. I transitioned to Ironworking and joined Local 3 located in Pittsburgh PA. The underlying consistency in my career is construction of some sort. It still fascinates me and I still learn things on a daily basis.I have once again chosen a field where women are still somewhat scarce, yet the population is growing. I am not a trailblazer; I just want a wage for hard work.And I do work hard. My objective is to secure work doing ironwork- no chosen area yet.
