As someone who is naturally drawn to logic puzzles, I have found passion in the problem solving world that is software engineering. The ability to exercise creative interests alongside more structed algorithms keeps learning as an aspiring software developer exciting.My current role has allowed me to work closely with software developers and gain a better understanding of what a future career as a software engineer would look like. I am also grateful to be apart of the Women In Technology (WIT) Empowerment Mentorship Program. My mentor has given me valuable insights on the world of Security Engineering as well a unique perspective of the industry. The program has also created opportunities to connect with peers and grow connections with people in the industry.My current aim is to keep learning and growing through work experience and structed university development. I love to work with other people and hope to keep working collaboratively. I will continue to learn what potential careers and opportunities are out there.
