Responsible for leading, facilitating and managing the strategic and tactical planning process to support the growth of services and programs for Behavioral Healthcare Providers (BHP). This individual will work in collaboration with physicians and leadership groups across multiple entities, services, and programs to develop clear strategic priorities and to develop detailed tactical plans that are financially and operationally sustainable and that meet growth objectives. As part of the BHP business plan, this position will play a key role in facilitating joint clinical enterprise planning with other entities.* Lead the strategic and tactical planning process, working with leadership groups to gain input and achieve consensus on plans.* Lead business and program development function for BHP throughout Fairview system and other business systems. This includes interfacing with other community hospitals.* Build a virtual team of collaborators across the enterprise to coordinate projects and deliver high quality work products. *Conduct ongoing analyses throughout the service area to identify incremental growth opportunities. * Provide system and service line leadership with analysis and synthesis of trends in the service line, and competitive/market trends. *Serve on several service line workgroups and committees to facilitate the implementation of programs and initiatives. * Coordinate finance, marketing, and communication resources to support the provision of information that is needed for plan development and implementation. * Develop measures to track progress on key initiatives. * Develop and present strategic and tactical planning presentation documents and work-plans to be used in implementing key strategies. * Manage the process to ensure that plan is completed according to agreed upon timelines. * Transition plans to operations leadership to implement.

This position has six core areas of responsibility. They are accountability for network design, development and management; accountability for provider contracting, network administration and credentialing; accountability management of the diagnosis evaluation center, SchedulR; responsibility for network communication and provider education; accountability for provider relations and marketing; assisting with the annual quality, finance and customer services plan, including customer services standards, accountability for the Credentialing Committee, Membership Committees for Behavioral Healthcare Providers. * Develop and oversees BHP’s network strategy, including the design and the sizing of the network. Direct and oversee the allied health ancillary, and outpatient provider contracting strategy for BHP. Interface and coordinate with health plans and purchase customers regarding Network issues. * Direct the development and educate interested providers in the credentialing requirements and processes.* Oversee for the agenda and distribution of information for the BHP Membership Committee.* Lead and Oversee reappointment procedure in collaboration with Fairview System Credentialing. * Knowledge of NCQA credentialing guidelines.* Direct the development and implementation of BHP’s internal communication and education strategies.
