As a Tourism and Hospitality Sales and Marketing professional I have over 30 years’ experience in 5 star International Hotel accommodation, conventions, catering and events and small business with a focus on premium bespoke guest experience. Having recently (August 2023) sold our family owned, award winning 5 star Hosted Accommodation property The Beach House at Bayside in Albany Western Australia, I have relocated to Geelong, Victoria and am transitioning into my new home and life outside a 24/7 small business! I have a proven track record of developing new accommodation , events and incentive business, and motivating a team (of up to 25) to produce sales targets and customer service goals. I also have experience in marketing planning for a broad retail distribution network in the lottery industry.While managing our family business in my home town of Albany Western Australia I was dedicated to contribution to the broader Tourism and business communities - championing my town and region - and on a state level I am proud to have contributed as a Board Director of Australia’s South West (RTO) and Tourism Council of Western Australia. My absolute passion is to create a uniquely warm, memorable, personalised experience for every guest or client, to nurture successful and meaningful collaborative relationships, and work in - and lead - teams where kindness is key and ‘all ships can rise with the tide’.
