Assist Senior Paralegals and Attorneys with day-to-day case work and internal operations of the firm. Primarily working on the preparation and execution of PERM, I-140, AOS, O-1A, NIW and OR cases. Responsibilities include: -Daily communication with our clients on needed information and the status of their cases;-Research of case-law and strategy for Outstanding Researcher and National Interest Waiver petitions;-Preparing and writing letters on behalf of our clients detailing their accomplishments for USCIS's review;-Preparation of forms for the above listed Immigrant Visa Petitions;-Drafting of Attorney Cover Letters;-Drafting of various compliance documents with our clients;-Assembly and finalization of cases; and -Assisting our firm with any and all other writing and research oriented tasks.

Worked in the Gulch's high volume kitchen for the summer assisting with cooking daily meals for 50-100 campers and staff. Taught daily classes to campers on baking and cooking basics.

As a legal intern at OCS my duties were bi-weekly and involved assisting Cleveland Legal Aid with their intake process for clients. I also worked with OCS to develop new projects and broaden their ability to help community members with legal matters.

Organized, managed and ran Oberlin's annual Big Parade - a one day event in which members of the college and community walk hand built floats, perform, dance etc. down the towns main street with a culminating free BBQ celebration. During the year duties included:-Obtaining proper permitting from the City of Oberlin;-Coordinating with members of the community to organize high school and middle school students to build their own floats;-Obtaining grant money to be able to provide free building materials;-Leading workshops on how to build specific types of floats and spark ideas;-Organizing a fundraiser for the parade; and -Physically assisting with float building.

Assisted Owen's campaign primarily with research and outreach to local groups and non-profits in the area he sought to connect with on similar interest issues. Performed other standard campaign tasks such as phone banking as well.

Worked all summer with the Paperhand staff to create puppets, sets, and costumes for their annual summer show. Skills learned include: Paper mache, clay sculpting, cardboard sculpting, puppet "rigging" and intensive painting on both flat and sculpted puppets/set pieces.
