From the music and entertainment business to the world of design and innovation, the thread of my work has always been about enabling the world's most creative talent to do the best work of their lives. Most recently, I spent almost twenty years at the global design and innovation consultancy IDEO as a leader in culture, communications, and workplace experience design. I partnered closely with IDEO’s Recruiting, Learning & Development, and HR teams globally to shape the IDEO employee experience, leading the design and implementation of internal channels, tools, and platforms to keep the community connected to IDEO’s culture and values. My career at IDEO was built on being a compassionate and approachable liaison between creative teams and business leaders. I was a trusted bridge between IDEO’s most senior leadership and its global community, acting as strategic thought partner to the Founder, CEO, CFO, and other senior leadership during a formative time of IDEO’s trajectory as well as the high-stakes turbulence of the global pandemic. Prioritizing relationships and credibility to get things done means being an expert at stakeholder management, respectful of global cultural context and nuance. As a core team member on many efforts critical to IDEO’s cultural evolution, I am passionate about inclusion and dedicated to the rigor required to connect with diverse communities.Prior to design, I was an artist manager and concert promoter in Austin, TX. There I started a music management company directing my tenacity for problem solving and empathy for the creative spirit towards nurturing the careers of emerging bands. I also spent several years booking and promoting large-scale events with Clear Channel, SXSW, and Austin City Limits Music Festival.
