I have a good knowledge of what the HR role entails, ensuring to give comprehensive and professional HR advice to both Managers and Employees, maintaining good working relationships and providing timely and responsive answers to any queries that may arise.being a HR Advisor entaisl dealing with HR queries throughout the business, assisting and developing recruitment campaigns, working with Managers to identify development needs, using e-systems to access, input and compile data and relaying the information back to the teams, supporting both Managers and staff members in managing relationships, responding to queries and acting as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members.Through my ILM course I learnt different communication, coaching and influencing skills which are imperative to the role when advising and supporting line managers in a variety of HR issues.As part of my current role, it is important that I maintain an up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, local policies, procedures and operating practices. I have a clear understanding of the Employment rights Act. I have excellent organisational skills, I learnt a lot from the Leadership and Management course for example understanding how to organise and delegate tasks, how to perform management tasks including managing projects and leading meetings, how to motivatw people to improve their performance, plan and manage change, managing people and relationships, negotiating, networking, building relationships, understanding leadership, using action leadership to develop my leadership capabilities. These are all skills I believe to be adaptable and flexible and skills I have used when having discussions with managers in recent months.
