Worked in Loan Operations most of the 37 years, accounting (morning balancing), processing loans, working with loan officers, helping customers with their loan questions, helping commercial customers with their billing questions, attended numerous classes to keep up to date on the federal regulations, worked in the credit card department for approximately 1 1/2 years processing and approving credit card applications and working delinquencies, then transferred back to Loan Operations, (working with the supervisor) processing bought and sold loans and other responsibilities until retirement. Prior to working at the bank, I worked at a Finance Company in Thomasville processing loans and later became branch manager, approving loans and working delinquencies.

I was hired as a teller and customer representative for 2 1/2 years, taking credit applications and bookkeeping and posting daily payments, then was promoted to Manager where I approved loans, collection activity contacting customers by phone and outside collections, worked chargeoff's and managerial duties. This was a finance company which merged with other companies and has moved from Thomasville, N. C.
