Sally Wilson, ASID is a Principal at the award winning interior design firm, Wilson Kelsey Design. Throughout her 30-year career as an interior designer, Wilson has been acknowledged for her contributions to the residential interior design profession including the American Society of Interior Designer’s (ASID) Excellence in Design Award, which is given to those who have made significant contributions toward the advancement of the design profession and a commitment to enhancing quality of life. Wilson Kelsey Design specializes in renovation, restoration, preservation, custom cabinet design, custom furniture, spatial planning, interior architectural detailing, fabric, furniture, accessories and window treatment selection and specification.Sally began her career at the internationally acclaimed architectural firm The Stubbins Associates, Inc. (now Kling Stubbins) where she honed her skills in custom millwork solutions, interior detailing, space planning and project management on large commercial and institutional projects. It was during her tenure at The Stubbins Associates that she met her future husband, John Kelsey. The couple later formed their own interior design firm, Wilson Kelsey Design specializing in commercial design and segueing into high-end residential interiors. Their firm is now an established presence in the Boston area and is the recipient of numerous design awards including the prestigious Institute of Classical Architecture and Art’s (ICAA) Bulfinch Award for Best Residential Interior Design and Interior Renovation.Wilson’s residential work showcases her unerring sense of color and ability to artfully combine patterns and textures in a manner that brings a room to life. She is a longtime aficionado of antiques, and skillfully blends them within a variety of room types and settings. Her work has been showcased on the covers of New England Home and Northshore magazines, and she has been featured in numerous publications.
