I recently retired from global law firm Skadden Arps, where I was a strategic business partner and results-oriented tax advisor to Fortune 500 companies on multi-billion dollar transactions for 35 years. I was a member of Skadden senior management for many years and held a number of C-Suite equivalent roles. In that capacity I employed a pragmatic, direct and collaborative approach to foster engagement and innovation in financial, operational, ESG and human capital matters. I am now seeking corporate board opportunities and am proud to have been a member of the 2022 Class of the DirectWomen Board Institute. I believe that my expertise in business solutions, risk mitigation, financial oversight and DEI initiatives can help to support corporate leaders address the myriad challenges of our increasingly complex and interconnected world. My expertise is in mergers and acquisitions, particularly combinations between U.S. and foreign multinationals, cross-border structures and integration planning, and I regularly advised clients on complex accounting and tax issues. I have in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical and insurance industries due to my years of advising clients operating in those spaces. My home is in New York City; however, in my downtime I enjoy skiing, boating, cycling and hiking from my home on Lake George in upstate New York. I am a proud member of the executive board of the Lake George Association, the premiere environmental protection organization for the "Queen of American Lakes."
