Sally’s service and philanthropic commitments to organizations that put the needs of kids and families first. Most recently, Sally served as the Vice President at Wonderful Education. Funded by Lynda and Stewart Resnick, owners of The Wonderful Company, Wonderful Education serves 55,000 students, and partners with educational leaders, colleges, and teachers across 24 school districts to improve educational opportunities and enhance the quality of life for children, families and communities throughout California's Central Valley. Previously, Sally served as Assistant Commissioner of Education in New York, Senior Advisor and Vice President at City Year, Inc., and worked with Expeditionary Learning Schools. She started her career in public education with the San Diego Unified School District. Sally holds an AB from Bryn Mawr College, and an Ed.M. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
