The Brisbane Content Strategy Group meets once a month to discuss all things content - from its planning and creation, to its management and governance. All welcome.

I work at the intersection of content, UX, technology, information architecture and product to deliver customer centric digital experiences. Projects include:- Working as a content architect for Scentre Group (owner of Westfield shopping centres in AU and NZ) to create a content model and associated content types to support the implementation of a headless content management system (CMS) and taxonomy for a digital asset manager (DAM).- Developing and delivering large (and complex!) content strategy projects for Vanguard Super, Bunnings, Chorus NZ, Virgin Australia's Guest Contact Centre, University of Auckland, Department of Home Affairs, Bauer Media, MetLife, Legal Aid Queensland, Sunsuper and ResMed.- Developing and facilitating training for clients such as Virgin Australia, Supreme Court Library Queensland and UQ Sport.- Presenting at UX Poland, Confab (Minneapolis, London and Denver), Interactive Minds, Networx, Web Directions (RESPOND and DESIGN), EMSA and Brisbane Content Strategy Group events. Vanguard Super is an exciting product that will have a massive, positive impact to the Australian superannuation industry. I worked with the marketing and proposition experience teams to develop a content strategy for Vanguard Super, including content principles, governance and an editorial content library. I mapped member communication and correspondence needs across member journeys as well as proposed a product naming hierarchy.

I participated in the inaugural Brisbane Service Design Jam, part of the Global Service Jam initiative. Working as part of the team "Sunshine Explorers" we researched, designed, tested and pitched an idea for a new product called OZbuddy - all in 48 hours. The judges were impressed and awarded us a highly commended for our efforts.

This position was at the Department of Community Safety. I project managed the implementation of a web content management system (WCMS) for the agency's intranet, including recruiting and managing a small project team.

I managed the content team within the OnePortal project. This included:• Developing and implementing content standards and guidelines, quality assurance processes, template and content requirements, and overseeing the content migration.• Providing expert advice to management on content related matters.• Acting as a key point of contact for business areas for all content matters.
