About Sally Baker
Empowering women is my calling, and I have been doing this since I was 16. Working in a hospital as a nurse’s assistant at this age, I witnessed my first miscarriage. I saw death: this deeply affected me, particularly when I noticed how awkward and evasive the staff were in these difficult situations.Becoming a social worker was my solution. 32 years later, I am still enjoying training, mentoring, debriefing, and supporting midwives and other childbirth professionals. I have shared my knowledge and experience at various symposiums and training and have accepted invitations from several radio and television programs as a guest speaker. Supporting caregivers is a valued part of my work. I am grateful to help people navigate trauma, loss and PTSD with various brain therapies and a solution focused outlook. My current private practice offers an extensive range of services to childbirth professionals, affiliated organizations, and private individuals. I look forward to connecting with you.
