The MCPDCPBC is a non-profit organization currently being formed to support the work of the Mill Creek Police Department's Citizen Patrol through organized fund-raising events and community awareness efforts. The Mill Creek Police Department's Citizen Patrol is comprised of area residents who go through a rigorous six-week training program followed by on-going training throughout the year as opportunity arises. The members are not City of Mill Creek employees. They are all either currently working or retired adults from the local area who bring with them a wealth of skill and experience. Several are past law enforcement professionals, while others are current business owners and employees from the greater Seattle community. The MCPDCPBC's purpose in raising needed funds for equipment, training, vehicles, and other expenses through this non-profit organization is two-fold: 1) to increase the community's understanding of the vast resources and services being provided to it at little-to-no impact to the City's strained budget, and 2) to garner financial support from the community the MCPDCPBC serves. My position within this organization is currently Vice President of the Board of Directors. Watch for more information and our website (currently under construction) to come!

We provide bookkeeping, payroll services, and tax preparation for small business owners both locally and in other states. We maintain the flexibility to provide as much or little support as our clients need. Some (and we encourage this) come to us for QuickBooks training so they can do all their own data entry, then see us every quarter to clean up anything that may need adjusting and generate their quarterly reports. Others call us on an as-needed basis, while still more give us 100% of their bookkeeping work and just drop off or fax us everything as it comes in. Independent filmmakers call on us from time to time as projects come up, and we take care of any needs they may have. In some cases they need payroll run, followed by sending out all the W-2's the following January. For others we have done full-blown bookkeeping pre-through-post, payroll, and liaison between the filmmaker and SAG to make sure all the union's requirements are met and reports filed.
