I was the Head of Kindergarten at DUCKS, Dulwich College Kindergarten and Infants' School. Managing a team of 16 colleagues providing care and education for children aged 6 months to 3 years following the Early Years Foundation Stage with a strong emphasis on preparing children for their next stage of schooling. Whilst at DUCKS I was involved in Local Authority initiatives developing Social and Emotional Aspects of Development (SEAD) and gained a Masters in Early Years Education at the IOE.

I established and ran PWDN for 15 years providing childcare and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This was a highly successful small business employing 10 people and providing those children who attended a positive start to their education. Children moved from PWDN to local independent and state schools.
