July 2016 - March 2018Manager of team of 6 clinical staff, responsible for compliance of delegated functions (Disaster Recovery, Global, Member Outreach, Network, Transportation, Translation) for over 400 national provider organizations/vendors for compliance and continuous monitoring for delegated functionsApril 1996 to July 2016• Responsible for re-organizing numerous functional healthcare corporate departments resulting in improved efficiencies, increased Provider Organization satisfaction as well as cost reductions.• Co-developed the Credentialing Team regulatory process with Aetna and Pacificare for California Industry Collaboration Effort (ICE) resulting in the first industry collaborative for sharing information among health plans.• Co-team leader for the ICC Credentialing & Website teams as well as Leadership Committee. As of 4Q 2016 the Provider Organization savings were $375,360 and the Health Plans savings were $1,150,000.• Responsible for the redesign and deployment for DB2 database with over 20 users resulting in enhanced productivity of all audit functions.• IT liaison responsible for offshore IT and on-shore users. Daily lights-on maintenance and monthly user acceptance testing of software and deployments resulting in a high-level of problem resolution and reduced downtime.• Designed new Division of Responsibilities document (contract support document) for successful accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements. The documents detailed Utilization Management, Credentialing, Case Management and Disease Management processes.• Improved past performance of provider organizations by developing the Credentialing Audit Reviewer Guidelines and Credentialing Compliance Reference Books for all contracted Provider Organizations. Result: over 95% of provider organizations passed the credentialing audit as a result of my efforts.
