I just love the Tourism industry and all related to it - from business - both corporate and incentive, to luxury leisure and travel trade - both domestic and overseas. Having worked this market segment for the past 18 years, predominantly in the US and Canada, but also in Europe, the UAE and over the past 10 years, Asia, more specifically China and was seeing some good return on investment. Covid took its toll and inbound market from China is taking time to recover. The North American market is lucrative and currently my main focus for international representation both for leisure and MICE. And seeing good ROII look after some lovely venues, mostly in South West England but if a venue fits the market I’m targeting, I represent clients from all areas of the UK. I love working this market, including golf , which is the friendliest sector in the industry. I have challenging but absolutely stunning properties to sell, and once potential clients see the venues that I am linked to - both in Devon, Cornwall and beyond. With the service and facilities on offer - once seen, clients are hooked! I am from Devon and selling the destination and the region as well as the hotels and exclusive use country houses, it's all part of the buzz I get from this job.
