Project Manager - Visits And Events Logistics Unit
CurrentKey responsibilities:• Working with the Prime Minister’s office, Minister of Foreign Affair’s office, as well as other Ministers and Government House.• Prepare and manage end to end logistical project phases (event/visit brief, workstreams, resource plans, project timelines, budget, visit itineraries and programmes) both on and offshore.• On the ground logistical lead for MFAT events on and offshore.• Working with regional and local councils.• Extensive and accurate budget management for all events.• Supplier procurement, contract negotiations and management.• Delegation risk management and contingency planning.• Supporting other divisions during times of crisis.• Collaborating with NZINC agencies during times of crisis, for trade missions and during the COVID steady state.• Travel adviser and key contact for MFAT staff travelling during COVID times.• Data management and website updating.
