Drawing on over 20 years as a teacher, group facilitator, therapist and communicator (background as a writer, TV journalist), I bring a focused passion to the work I do supporting others to learn, change, deal with challenges effectively and reach their potential.As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and fseap affiliate counsellor, I bring my knowledge of human behavior, coaching skills and commitment to workplace mental health to support leaders, employees and programs in order to increase engagement and success. At my downtown clinical office, I work with individuals and couples on a range of issues including: workplace stress, relationship conflict, recovery from loss, trauma repair, mid-life changes, career shifts and recovery from depression. I provide consulting services and workshop facilitation on such topics as: Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I certification), Leadership, Respectful Communication, Working with Personality Differences (MBTI). What I bring to this work is an abundance of leadership experience, along with a background in counselling, coaching, adult education and media. Working well alone and in teams, my aim is to provide enthusiastic problem-solving, consultation and liaison among interested parties in order to realize desired outcomes.
