I started a public relations agency in 1980. We survived in the early years thanks in good measure to the kindness of friends and strangers. We hit our stride in the 1990s. We worked mostly with entrepreneurial companies, which I loved. I segued out of the agency business in 2003 and look back with pride at the good work we did and at young people who worked there whose careers have flourished.Today, I consult exclusively to The Boston Beer Company, brewers of Samuel Adams, a company I've worked with for 40 years (!) since its founding in 1984.

During Lenny's year in residence at Harvard, he created "The Norton Lectures", and I spent an unforgettable few months working on that project.

I wrote/edited scripts for the BSO radio broadcasts, worked in the radio booth recording concerts, and briefly worked as the registrar for the fellowship program at Tanglewood, a position for which I posessed few of the necessary organizational skills.I still miss having good music all around me.
