About Sally Mcarthur

Many of the problems facing the world today come down to how we use and interact with the materials around us. But how do we maintain the quality of life we’re so used to without damaging our environment? I have spent almost 20 years honing my expertise in advanced manufacturing. And in more recent times, I have shifted my focus to materials for low-carbon economies. My natural curiosity and a passion for people drives me to understand the issues that face our communities and lead teams to develop solutions in materials science to tackle those challenges.These problems require new, sustainable thinking systems. My job? To develop those systems – systems that are financially viable and sustainable for the workforce, consumers and ultimately our planet.
