Being a journalist for over 27 years, she writes about her geeky and nerdy passions - gaming. Sally is now both a journalist and influencer for the gaming and geek culture industries and loves all types of games from tabletop board games and D&D to MMO's and FPS video games such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Runes of Magic, LOTR Online, Final Fantasy, CS:GO,  and oh so many more.Sally has been a gamer since 1990 and has always had a thirst for all things 'geek'. 3 years working with children and building a very successful business up from the ground. Funkalicious Faces was a established and well known children's entertainment company focusing on all aspects of entertaining children such as themed parties, face painting, art and craft, clowns, storytellers etc. Funkalicious Faces was very proud to be used for many large events and companies such as Walt Disney UK, Lord Mayor's Show (London), Marks & Spencer, ASDA, Wilkinson and many more.

I spent a happy 2 and a half years at Halifax PLC based that the very busy Oxford Street branch in London. I worked within various roles within the branch from customer service to mortgage advice and everything in between. I worked with customers accounts on a day to day basis, offered personal advice on both banking and savings accounts as well as mortgages and loans. I worked hard within the branch and was intending to become a branch manager within 3 years and had a 10 year career plan in place.

Based at the busy High Holborn branch (London) of Skipton Building Society I spent almost 2 years working as a Customer Service Advisor. Helping people administer their accounts on a day to day basis, offer personal banking and savings advice and provide leads to the independent financial advisor.
