The sector focus areas are:- Food Security & Nutrition ( Agri); Green Economy & Renewable Energy; Financial Inclusion & Innovation; Local Infrastructure.As the Investment Director of the Fund, I worked closely with a team of Investment professionals, and oversaw the sourcing, due diligence and onboarding of the investees as well as the portfolio management. I was also responsible for liaising and maintaining the relationship with various partners, donors, and investors who supported the Fund.

Business Partners is a leading specialist risk capital financier that provides finance and technical assistance support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), whilst creating a positive impact.As the Country Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the full operations of the Kenya office. This included, leading a team of investment, post-investment and administrative officers in deal sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management functions. I was also responsible for the recruitment and motivation of staff, leading and upskilling the team, and ensuring that the set objectives and targets are continuously met. I was also a member of the Investment Committee that approved all funding transactions.In addition to the above, I implemented the marketing functions of the Kenya operations in ensuring there was a plan and that it was well executed to ensure the Company remains visible and that the business fraternity was aware of the various products and services offered.I was the liaison person in Kenya, responsible for representing the organisation through interaction with the investors and other third party organisations in various forums. I also represented the Company as a guest speaker at International conferences.

I was responsible for setting the Business Banking Unit at Commercial Bank of Africa, that is the dedicated Unit that serves SME's in the lending function. As Head of the Unit, I she was responsible for leading and managing a team of relationship managers.
