As Business Manager for the Department of Psychological Services I play a lead role in supporting and advising the Head of Department and Senior Leadership Team. I play a key role in creating a culture where process and data is used to enhance efficiency and improve patient journeys and experience. I facilitated the delivery and implementation of a new people centric operating model. I have established a PMO framework, enhanced data visualisation and presented insightful management information ensuring the department runs smoothly and efficiently and we provide an excellent people and patient experience.

Following the 50:50 joint venture I work at Virgin Media O2, one of the largest entertainments and telecommunications operators in the UK, with around 47 million customers in 2021, giving the UK more choice and better value.

As part of the HR team, I reported into the Head of People Strategy and Strategic Programmes. I enable HR to work more efficiently, have greater ability to realise its goals and deliver excellent people experiences. I led the prioritisation and progress of strategic projects and initiatives, delivered reporting and analysis to the HR Director and HR Leadership team and drive better collaboration and communication across our Centre of Excellences and our partnering community into the business.

I reported into the Head of People Development, playing an important role in the learning and development transformation. I program managed the launch of O2 Campus, an end to end learning experience for employees, achieving accreditation from the Learning Performance Institute within the first year. I oversaw the weeklong graduation in Barcelona of our Early Careers Talent, the culmination of our apprentice and graduates’ journey and experience and I incorporated marketing techniques and social engagement for O2 Campus to drive up employee ownership for their own development journeys.

I reported into the Head of L&D and as a team we supported the full UK Business. I facilitated the success of the team by looking at how things were done and how we could improve. I introduced new processes using lean six sigma, fostered a continuous improvement culture and owned and standardised the end to end rhythm of the business. I evolved the data and insights strategy, implementing a business dashboard and pipeline of activity, leading to better data led decisions, increased efficiency, effectiveness and compliance across the function
