From premium brands such as Peppa Pig, Disney’s Frozen, Mattel’s Barbie and Warner Brother’s Batman through to our more classic brands including Scooby Doo, Sesame Street and Bob the Builder. The Entertainment Store has a 30 year history, producing and managing over 32,000 live performances in theatres, festivals, publicity tours and major corporate events all over Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Middle East and North America.Working along side a hard working events, logistics, sales, graphic design and casting team I assisted with pulling together event manuals, schedules and contacts list during the busy school holiday event period. I worked on large scale events such as AFL footy fest and the Royal Melbourne show assisting with bump ins and bump outs for major clients including Disney and Mattel.

The RWAV Locum Program provides a personalised approach to matching general practitioner locums with practices in rural and regional Victoria for rural general practices and Aboriginal Medical Services. Responsibilities with the Locum Support Officer role included:- Advertising locum vacancies on the RWAV website and through Vacancy Mailer and regular e-bulletins- Contacting the RWAV database of working and prospect locums- Matching a registered GP locums to a vacancy to ensure a good job fit for the role- Assist with the negotiation of placement fees and terms- Assist with administration including obtaining Medicare provider numbers- Referencing and help with credentialing paperwork documentation- Providing handover guidelines- Locum check in and support during the placement- Completing evaluations at end of placement to ensure Quality service

As part of the Deakin University BA Public Relations Degree students are required to complete an internship at an organisation of their choice. I was fortunate to land an internship position at RWAV and gain a 4 month experience as their Marketing Assistant with a brilliant Marketing and PR expert. My daily responsibilities included:- Daily Media Summaries through Media Monitors- RWAV Media Coverage - In the media mail outs to all RWAV staff, Board and stakeholders- eBlast story (RWAV’s electronic newsletter) - Stakeholder list & media publication list- Victorian Rural Doctors’ Awards - Media Release and event assistance- VRDA event assistance- Mail merges of letters, labels, name badges- Upload practice vacancies to the RWAV website using HTMLAfter my four month internship I was offered a permanent full-time position at RWAV as their Event Coordinator and Locum Support Officer.

Robert Masters & Associates (RMA) is a strategic communication and stakeholder engagement consultancy. Since inception, RMA's approach to strategic communication programs, community consultation and stakeholder engagement processes have earned it the reputation of being at the leading edge of communication management for over 30 years.A five month employment contract with Robert Masters and Associates (RMA) enabled me to gain work experience in the Public Relations industry. I developed a wealth of experience at RMA and working at a consultancy the tasks were fast paced and varying each day. I worked for two days a week during the five month contract and the Alannah and Madeline Foundation Cyber Bullying Conference was one of the major projects I worked on which was a great success. I worked with Maria Vampatella, Senior Consultant and Robert Masters, Director.
