Personally, I am all about recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions. My belief in truly individualized treatment has evolved into my current specialization as an outpatient provider of addiction counseling and treatment. Many people find it difficult to remain in recovery once they return from detoxification or inpatient treatment and benefit from intensive counseling provided at their home, daily if necessary. Ongoing treatment and treatment intensity is reviewed weekly with the client and as appropriate with significant others such as family members. Identified, deeper issues needing psychotherapy are referred to licensed therapists. The goal is to assist the client to face obstacles, increase coping skills, and build a working support network in their community.
