Mental health advice under the 24/7 Crisis Support LineFollow up counselling for 24/7 Crisis Support Line

•First clinical psychologist in the Upper West Region. Established the Mental health Department currently comprising a fully functioning team of 2 specialists and 4 mental health workers. •Guest speaker on various Radio panel discussion on to educate the region and the Wa municipality on mental health issues. •In partnership with the Ministry of Women Gender, Children and Social Protection and other NGOs to promote mental health in the municipality. On-call psychologist for Gyinsung shelter.•Led a training on mental health care for Ghana National Association of the Deaf members sponsored by the Ghana Somubi Dwumadie . Assist and interpretate for members of the deaf community to access mental health services and other services at the hospital.

•Designed and led the implementation of a reinforcement program for students and staff of the school and its branches which led to a significant decrease in student challenging behaviour.•Provide assessment and behaviour management for students with challenging behaviour.•Provide counselling to students and staff.

•The project provided pregnancy testing to 311 Kayayei (head-porters). 782 Kayayei were reached through community film shows on FP and integrated messaging on GBV and HIV/AIDS. 614 Kayayei counselled and sensitized on myths and misconceptions of FP methods (IUDs and implants). 118 Kayayei youth and 1,870 condoms distributed to Kayayei youth during our small group discussion sessions held in the markets.•Managed 75 Kayayei peer educators/ anti GBV champions to provide one-on-one peer education, counselling and tackling issues related the general welfare of the Kayayei. •GBV prevention information and advice on what to do in cases of GBV to 473 Kayayei youth through informal group discussions (in partnership with Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit and the Kayayei Youth Association).
