Having good Knowledge of City gas distribution pipeline sites.Managing the work of project planning, co-ordination, signing all site related correspondence, receive/return free issue material, execution including all quality control related activities, inventory control and representing all project related activities of Steel pipeline laying work of CGD.Review of key rooting map, Isometrics.Inspection of all activities of Steel Pipelines at site like Trenching, Stringing, Welding, Radiography, Joint Coating, Holiday testing, Pre & Post padding, Lowering in of Pipeline and Backfilling.Inspection of all activities involved in Hydro testing of pipeline from Air Cleaning to Swabbing.Actively involved with client during pre-commissioning and commissioning of pipelines.Inspection of special crossings like Rail, Road and deep Nala /Canals by HDD.Review and signing of all inspection reports on daily basis.To inspect all material received at site for construction of pipeline like line pipe, Coating Sleeve, Epoxy primers, Welding electrodes and other consumables.Interpretation of radiography film as per API 1104.Inspections before welding, during welding and after welding.To ensure the execution of all activities at site as per Quality and Safety standards formulated by client.Dealing with the client on daily basis for the entire technical and daily programmed for all the activities under my supervision.To report to client on daily basis about all Quality and Safety issues.Preparation of procedure Qualification record (PQR)Preparation of welding procedure specification (WPS)Testing of all welders for performance test (WPQT) and coordinating with Client for welder qualification.Conducting & witnessing of Hydro test of Pipeline.Make daily/weekly/monthly progress report Control all aspects of health and safety relating project work.

Preparation of Job procedure.Preparation of Weld Plans & Test Plans as per approved Drawings & Specifications of related clients & International codes.Conducting Weld Procedure Qualification (PQR/WPS) & Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) as per ASME sec IX/API 1104 and Client specification.Responsible for inspection related work and documentation.Coordinating with Material Controller for Incoming Inspection of various materials, consumables etc. with relevant documents like MTC.Monitoring and follow up of back end activities like Lowering, Tie-In and Backfilling.Monitoring on preparation of all quality control documents like ITP, WPS/PQR, and Inspection Format like Fit-up & Weld visual inspection reports.Carrying out the Joint Fit-Up Inspection with consideration of Isometric & General Arrangement Drawings.Carrying out the welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test Plan & Relevant engineering Drawing.Ensure maximum production with proper job procedure to achieve the production with quality.Executing the Job as per setting weekly and monthly targets.Preparation and maintaining all the qualification records.Mechanical Clearance of Pipe book for Lowering and for Hydro testing of the Section.Inspection of Cold field bends and Field Joint Coating

Monitor the daily construction activities, perform daily site-inspections, and Ensure compliance with the QA/QC program, project drawings and Project specifications.
