The last four decades of urban development in Iran have been interwoven with great cultural and social changes. The "Echo" (also called Pejwak in persian), aims to contemplate on this urban evolution, by focusing on the "Individual Citizen" and the individuals effect on his or her habitat, neighborhood and city. We envision to explore the unconscious state of mind - of the individual citizen - leading to the current trend of urban decision making in Iran. And our emphasis will be to understand the individual citizens' perception of "The Quality of Life". Positioning the definition of "The Quality of Life" as a crucial factor for urban formation, we will then aim to discover and establish a clearer path to better, more livable cities.
