Salman has over 15 year of professional experience managing high scale projects in FinTech, SportsTech and Media, Digital and other Innovation industries. Some of his key achievements are as follows:• Restructured the core processes and leading the Qatar FinTech Hub (QFTH) program by delivering 5 successful Incubation and Acceleration cohorts and positioning it as the FinTech Flag Bearer of the Qatari Ecosystem, in close partnership with Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Financial Center, Microsoft, VISA, Mastercard and other sector leaders, while graduating a global portfolio of 76 FinTech startups with a pre-seed fund of USD 9Mn+.• Launched the Qatar SportsTech Accelerator and Pre-Accelerator Program delivering 6 successful cohorts with 40 international startups and maintaining the portfolio success rate to over 70%.• Led the planning and execution of multiple Innovation programs and initiatives for entities like beIN Media Group, Startupbootcamp (global), Aspire Zone Foundation, Qatar Business Incubation Center and others.• Mentored startups across industries helping them launch from ideation phase to scaleups. Active mentor startups such as SponixTech, NavBuddy, Juego SportsTech, Yoomedoo, Qpay, S-Treasury, FramaFin, Ablelyf, and other SportsTech, FinTech, MedTech and Digital Solution Startups. • Planned and executed the On-site Project Management of international sports events on behalf of beIN Media Group. Successfully delivered FIFA World Cup South Africa, Brazil and Russia, Copa America in Brazil, African Cup of Nations in South Africa, Olympics in UK, and many other international sporting events• Founded and exited “Play and Learn” a revenue generating startup for children education resources.
