Tsugu Tsugu Inc. is a Japanese company dedicated to sharing the beauty of kintsugi, a centuries-old technique that uses natural lacquer and gold to repair damaged ceramic pieces.Tsugu Tsugu offers kintsugi classes, kintsugi one-hour workshops, kintsugi supplies and repair services in its two studios in Tokyo (Ebisu and Asakusa). In 2021, it established a strong partnership with MUJI Shinjuku to make Kintsugi repair accessible to a greater number of people. Every month, about 100 objects are repaired in Tsugu Tsugu’s studios. What my role entails: • Sales - Managing the online shops on Etsy and Shopify (creation of listings, SEO, stock tracking...)- Answering inquiries relating to all products and services, ensuring a high conversion rate - Ensuring compliance with lOSS for sales within the EU- Supporting custom orders and workshop inquiries (coordination with the kintsugi teachers)- Creating invoices and sending them on time - Making monthly sales reports • Marketing- Translation and creation of marketing materials (instruction manual, flyers, posters...)- Creating content for Social Media (Instagram, Facebook): video editing, photo editing, layout, etc. - Writing blogposts about Kintsugi- Overseeing partnerships with English-speaking/French-speaking media• Language Support during workshops - Offering interpretation services JP-> FR/JP- Training colleagues to teach in English
