Executive Simulation (EXSIM) program is taught in collaboration with IESE. It gives students a taste of what it’s like to defend a project before a corporate board. Without leaving the classroom, they engage with real members of boards, banks and trade unions. In the process, they learn the importance of preparation as well as thinking on their feet.This full-time week-long business simulation covers all relevant areas of a company: strategic decision-making, marketing and sales, operations and supply chain management, human resources, and finance. As a result, the course is a comprehensive complement to help EMBA students put into practice all the applied knowledge acquired so far. At the same time, the simulation's dynamics challenges students' ability to translate strategy into results, to work in teams effectively and share workload under a high pressure environment and, finally, to live their values in the leadership path to success.

Conducted in collaboration with the Venture Design Center MITdesignX at MIT. The course focuses on the intersection of venture design and business. It provides a practical guide to choreographing innovation and entrepreneurship processes and includes essential methods, tools, and templates to enhance and accelerate creative problem-solving. The MITdesignX framework helps MBA students gain an understanding of a problem or need they intend to solve. It will lead them through the exploration and testing of possible solutions, let them envision the transformation of an idea into a viable product or service, and provide them with the skills and mechanism to deploy and hopefully scale a solution.

As a board member at Eyrir Ventures I worked closely with their portfolio companies on building successful sales and funding strategies. I was also involved with various activities for Eyrir Venture Management such as evaluating investment opportunities, doing community building and investor relations with a special focus on the Nordic region.Eyrir Invest is the largest Private Equity fund in Iceland. Eyrir Venture Management is it's venture investment arm.

The PayAnalytics software is currently being used by HR managers, compensation analysts, consultants, and executives to analyse the salary of over one million employees in over 75 countries around the world.

Icelandic Startups is the largest privately owned startup community organisation in Iceland. It supports new businesses for high growth within and out of Iceland. As CEO I was i.a. responsible for daily operations, partnerships, international collaboration, marketing and brand building. I‘m good at seeing the big picture, forming a strategic vision and have gained a considerable experience of building a brand equity in Iceland and abroad. I played i.a. a key role in establishing a strategic collaboration between leading startup organisations in the Nordics. A big part of my job was also financing our operations. It requires being proactive, well organised and driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, where partnership discussions and negotiation is usually made on a top executive level. I worked directly for the board of directors, managed a team of up to ten people and an extensive network of stakeholders. During my time at Icelandic Startups I‘ve had extensive experience of presenting information, speaking at events, and talking to the media. The job also included diplomacy.

The MIT REAP teams address the existing system by developing a strategy to deploy new interventions to improve it.
